Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines
What is welcome on ScriptU stages, chats and listings — and what gets removed.
Last updated August 28, 2026
On stage
- Perform your own work or material you are entitled to perform.
- No nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, drug use or dangerous stunts.
- No hate speech, harassment, threats or slurs — toward performers, viewers or crew.
- Broadcast only from a space you are allowed to broadcast from, and get consent from anyone else on camera.
In chat and messages
- No spam, link dumping, recruitment scams, crypto pitches or off-platform payment solicitation.
- Mentions are for conversation, not for pile-ons.
- Moderators can mute, hide messages and remove members from a stage. You can block any member.
In listings
- Castings must describe real projects with honest compensation terms.
- No pay-to-audition requests, no requests for intimate imagery, no bait listings collecting personal data.
- Shop listings must accurately describe condition, quantity and fulfilment.
Enforcement
Depending on severity we may hide content, mute an account, remove a listing, suspend or permanently ban, and where necessary report to authorities. Repeat violations escalate.
Appeals: support@scriptu.org within 30 days of the action.
