Filing a notice
- Identify the copyrighted work and the exact URL of the material on ScriptU.
- Give your contact details.
- State that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.
- State under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised agent.
- Sign it physically or electronically.
Where to send it
Send notices to legal@scriptu.org with the subject "DMCA Notice", or by post to [registered address].
What we do
We remove or disable the material promptly, notify the uploader and log the action. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed in error, send a counter-notice with the same formalities and consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material after 10 business days unless the complainant files suit.
