How to submit

Send requests on official letterhead to legal@scriptu.org, including the legal basis, the specific accounts identified by handle or email, and the precise data sought.

What we require

• Subscriber and basic account information: valid subpoena or local equivalent.
• Non-content records such as login timestamps: court order.
• Content such as messages or recordings: search warrant or equivalent judicial authorisation.

Emergencies

Where there is a good-faith belief of imminent risk of death or serious injury, we may disclose the minimum necessary information without a court order.

Notice to users

We notify affected users of a request unless legally prohibited or where notice would create a risk to someone's safety.
