Recording, Consent & Likeness Policy
Live auditions are recorded. Here is who can watch, for how long, and how to withdraw.
What gets recorded
Live auditions and live showcases are recorded server-side so producers can review them and so you keep a copy of your own performance. You are told before you go live.
Who can watch
- Private audition recordings: you, the casting owner and people they explicitly share with.
- Public showcase replays: anyone with the link, until they expire or you delete them.
- Access is enforced by role, not by obscurity — a private replay link will not open for someone without rights.
Likeness
Producers may use your audition recording to evaluate and share internally for the casting it belongs to. Any other use — marketing, publication, training a model — requires your separate written consent.
Withdrawing
Delete a replay from your dashboard at any time, or ask privacy@scriptu.org to remove a recording that includes you. Recordings expire automatically after 7 days unless saved.
